Hi Nigel this reply to an earler seeker may help: Subject: Re: [SRY] Thomas MAULL, Mount St. Guildford Hi Lynne looking at the LDS 1881 census, there was a Mount Street then. It contained, in addition to a house called the Mount, the Wheatsheaf, the Barley Mow and the cemetery lodge. I don't know if these pubs survive, but the cemetery wd fit the current Mount. Also one end of the listing abutts Park St which is next to the Mount on a recent(ish) map. As you have probably noticed the Mount is pretty much in line with the High Street, looking across the Wey.
