Anne, I have come across all of this information-and have been unable to confirm it. I have found no reference to Henry being a silversmith although I have searched the Silversmiths Hallmarks (online) without success. I have found a few "Henry Gannell's" who could fit the bill. I need written proof of relationships....and there is no evidence that William Gannell was Henry's father.
