hi folks, i have an instance of what may be a double registration for a birth in 1913 births GRO James Raymond Dunn [Bearis] m1913 Reigate 2a371a Male Dunn [Bearis] m1913 Reigate SRY 2a371 The mum's maiden name is wrongly transcribed by FreeBMD here but i have left a postem to that effect. What i'm not sure of, is this an example of baby Raymond being registered before being named, then re-registered after his christening, or was a 2nd baby born who died before being christened? I haven't found a death registration that accounts for it.
