I have hit a brick wall with Hector J DONALDSON, (b Jan 1916) son of Frederick J DONALDSON & May Lydia HAWKINS (m. 1911). Frederick's family had a 'military' background and he was killed in action in WW1. His widow appears to have died when her son was aged about 5. Hector may have married in 1944, Surrey South Western. It would be great if someone had these people on their tree!
