    3. Thanks Nivard for your response. I have a lot of information to find on the HILLS family and this should slot in somewhere, when I have the marriages of Henry's sisters. Pushing my luck here:: You can't help with my other query, can you? RG11 Piece 615 Folio 19 Page 32 I am trying to decipher the Ecclesiastical District, which looks like St Saviours but could be almost anything. Also I am having difficulty interpreting the relationship details of Henry junr to the Head of Houshold Henry HILLS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 3. Hi Maureen You are probably right re St Saviours but every page is so badly written its hard to say for sure, I suspect he was either a really bad writer or was on his last legs after several other books had been written up The relationship in 1881 is probably Lodger with stepson perhaps intermingled but suspect there is no blood relationship, Caroline WILLIS is a lodger herself in 1871 with a 2 year old son Geo Henry WILLIS born Wandsworth , Henry is with his mater In 1901 Henry has a wife Caroline with a son George aged 32 (George Henry presumably) I don't see a marriage for them though Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Thanks Nivard for your response. > I have a lot of information to find on the HILLS family and this should > slot > in somewhere, when I have the marriages of Henry's sisters. > Pushing my luck here:: > You can't help with my other query, can you? > > RG11 Piece 615 Folio 19 Page 32 > > I am trying to decipher the Ecclesiastical District, which looks like St > Saviours but could be almost anything. > > Also I am having difficulty interpreting the relationship details of Henry > junr to the Head of Houshold Henry HILLS. > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > > Regards > > Mo

    3. Nivard Thank you very much for your efforts with my HILLS lot. The relationship really is a nightmare to read, but as you say, very poorly written with a lot of errors, just written over. I have trawled FMP Marriages and can't seem to find a marriage for them, so perhaps like a lot of others in my family, just assumed the title of Mr & Mrs. God help todays kids trying to find the same information!! Regards and Seasonal Good wishes Mo On Thu, Dec 10, 2009 at 5:04 PM, Nivard Ovington <ovington1@sky.com> wrote: > Hi Maureen > > You are probably right re St Saviours but every page is so badly written > its > hard to say for sure, I suspect he was either a really bad writer or was on > his last legs after several other books had been written up > > The relationship in 1881 is probably Lodger with stepson perhaps > intermingled but suspect there is no blood relationship, Caroline WILLIS is > a lodger herself in 1871 with a 2 year old son Geo Henry WILLIS born > Wandsworth , Henry is with his mater > > In 1901 Henry has a wife Caroline with a son George aged 32 (George Henry > presumably) > > I don't see a marriage for them though > > Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > > > > > Thanks Nivard for your response. > > I have a lot of information to find on the HILLS family and this should > > slot > > in somewhere, when I have the marriages of Henry's sisters. > > Pushing my luck here:: > > You can't help with my other query, can you? > > > > RG11 Piece 615 Folio 19 Page 32 > > > > I am trying to decipher the Ecclesiastical District, which looks like St > > Saviours but could be almost anything. > > > > Also I am having difficulty interpreting the relationship details of > Henry > > junr to the Head of Houshold Henry HILLS. > > Any help would be greatly appreciated. > > > > Regards > > > > Mo > > *************************************** > Send your List messages using **PLAIN TEXT** and always **TRIM AWAY** > superfluous old messages in replies. > > List Admin can be contacted at: Eng-Surrey-admin@rootsweb.com. > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > ENG-SURREY-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- Maureen Burton Member ESFHS
