    3. Everyone Please help fellow Listers by using meaningful Subject Lines for messages. A good subject line should include the surname(s) and/or indication of place/date. Capital letters for surnames. A good subject line will ensure more people read the message. Many Listers belong to several Lists so they receive large numbers of messages daily. They may not have time to read every message so a good subject line can make the difference between the message being read, or being deleted unopened. Golden rules: -DO give your message a meaningful subject line which includes the surname(s) being researched. Capital letters for surnames. -DO post about Surrey people and places. There should always be a stated Surrey connection. -DO give as much information as possible i.e. known date(s), place(s) and name(s). -DO say what research has already been carried out. -DO make it clear what the 'stumbling block', or question, or "wish", is -DO thank anyone that helps. It's really good to see so much help and success with the current December messages. Ann Surrey Admin
