Many thanks, Caroline. That's a handy list of Surrey registration districts which I have bookmarked. What I was hoping for was a list of Surrey parishes, similar to the one for Middlesex - http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bpefisk/fh/Middx/index.html - which can help one to find the registration district name. The birthplace name given in a census is often different from a registration district name. Does anyone know of one?
