    3. Hi Gill I could have saved myself a lot of trouble if I had simply looked at the two Chapel Rows in the West Surrey FHS index to the Godfrey Maps. One of these two is in Clerkenwell (not Camberwell) and joins Exmouth Street (but not the one you found near Jubilee St in Mile End Old Town). I think this Exmouth St is now Exmouth Market. Chapel Row had gone by 1957, so you may well be right that it got blitzed. This Chapel Row is the only one mentioned in the 1912 edition of Streets and Places in the Admin County of London. Also the 1929 edition. The 1862 Stanford map published on CD by Mapco, shows the Exmouth St Chapel Row, but does not index it. I haven't found the one they mention in their index. Nor the Cadogan Square one in the WSFHS index, although there is an area that wd suit the appelation. Although I have the right edition, there are sometimes variations within an edition. I trust this helps. I'll send a map extract off list.
