Thanks so much for your suggestions, Jo. Yes, I have tried the Chile rootsweb mailing list. There are a number of British Cemeteries in Chile, I believe. Have not seen one near Concepcion online. Another researcher told me that William LAWRENCE who died in 1869 was buried in Valparaiso and his grave was desroyed during an earthquake. Very sad.
