Thanks for those suggestions, Pam. I do actually have a lot of information about Emily's family. I will post a little of it here. Emily's parents were Charles HASKEW (born Westminster 1817) and Mary Ann DOWNS (born Shaftesbury, Dorset in 1818) In 1871 they lived at 11 Portland Terrace, South Hackney. Charles was a Bank of England Clerk. Sons, Richard, Walter and Selwyn still remained in the family home. In 1871 my great Grandfather and Emily's brother, Charles HASKEW, was an Estate Agent who lived in St Paul's parish, Hammersmith. He came to Australia in 1884. Brother, George, was a Banker's Clerk who was living at 111 Lucan's Crescent, Pancras with his wife, Selina (nee GILL). George arrived in NSW in 1891, leaving his wife and daughter, Lillian, in England. Emily's sister, Mary Cecilia, was at school in Warminster, Wiltshire at Sambourne Ladies Boarding School where her Aunt Emily (born Hoxton 1809) was Headmistress. At last I have found Emily's Uncle, Henry John HASKEW, in 1871. He was living with his wife, Jane (nee LARKIN) at St George Hanover Square, Westminster. His wife and child predeceased him and the beneficiaries of his Will which he made in 1902 were "the children of my brother, Charles and of my my sister, Eleanor LAWRENCE, of Concepcion, Chile". I presume none of Henry's other siblings had surviving offspring. (there were 12 of them). Hoping this will help you to help me.
