Hello again, Robyn I have just noticed that there is a PCC will for a Jane NEATE, spinster, proved in April 1857. Although this Jane is described as being "of Upper Holloway, Middlesex", it could very well be the same one who died in Mortlake, as the will could have been written some time before she moved into the almshouses. It may be worth downloading the will (3.50GBP) from the National Archives website (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/wills.asp?WT.hp=Wills). Best wishes Caroline
