Hi Carole If you click on 'view record' rather than 'view image', you'll get the added entry after their name. However I've just looked at two for HEDGECOCKs and I could click on one and get the submitter's details (in this case it was me) and I would think you then get a link to enable you to email them. I couldn't tell where that was because it came up with my own profile details. The other entry did not give a clickable link. I don't know why there is a difference but it's possible it was done when Ancestry upgraded at one point and ALL existing transcriptions lost the link but all new ones added since the upgrade had a link. But I can't put my hand on my heart and say this is definitely what happened. As for your CORK mystery it might be worth following the CORK family back a couple of generations as I've got several examples in various census where siblings, relations of varying kinds are discovered next door to a family I'd already researched but with different surnames. I have on the 1861 census living in Islington my Great-Great-Grandfather & his first wife James ETHERTON Amelia ETHERTON Someone has added an alternative surname for Amelia of Amelia CORK and I would like to know why. All I can see from looking at the image is that next door the Cork family is living. I am interested as I have never been able to find a marriage for James & Amelia nor her death before he married to his second wife in Lambeth 1870.
