    3. Hi everyone! I am looking for the deaths of some young children of William SHEEHAN and Ann HAGUE in the Surrey / London area of England in the late 1850s to late 1860s. This couple married Nov 1855 at Stalybridge Ashton under Lyne Lancashire. One son, James Herbert SHEEHAN was born about 1855-58 possibly in Tipperary (Australian certs state Banshee / Bansheel Tipperary) and the next surviving child was a Catherine SHEEHAN born about 1865 in London / Surrey area of England (so says her marriage cert). Another son, William SHEEHAN was born about 1868 in the same area. In March 1871, when Mary SHEEHAN was born in Queensland Australia, James Herbert was 14yrs, Catherine was 6yrs, and William was 3yrs. Mary SHEEHAN's birth cert, also states that 2 males and 2 females born to William and Ann were dead. William SHEEHAN was born about 1835 Limerick and Ann HAGUE was born about 1828 Saddleworth Yorkshire. It is possible that James Herbert SHEEHAN had a different mother - Ann FREDERICKS as this name is mentioned on some certs also. Is anyone able to check for any burials / deaths for this couple please? Would be much appreciated. Thank you. 3. I found nothing really useful, but there is an Ann Hague born to William and Miriam on 30 Aug 1829, Saddleworth, York. Perhaps your William's grandmother, but I found no info to connect her? Michael

    3. Hi Judy, I take it you have the marriage certificate for William SHEEHAN and Ann HAGUE - if so was she a spinster when they married?  Is there any sign that she may have been married before and her maiden name may have been Fredericks?  What are the names of their father's and occupations?  Where were they living when they got married?  What was William's occupation?  All these facts may help us to help you. Did their children James Herbert, Catherine and William all remain in Australia or did any of them return to England?  Do you have any birth certificates for Catherine or William who were born in Surrey to help us look at a more specific area?
