Hi Peter The Richard you mention the certs for was baptised 7th Sept 1906 at St John the Evangelist Walworth Born Nov 23rd 1906 the son of Henry and Edith WHITTINGTON of 35 Morcombe Street , Henry a fishmonger That is the only child I can find baptised for this couple It does sound as if the Richard Victor you seek is a different child to the one you have the certs and now baptism for, why would they Baptise, Register the birth & death as just Richard then send a post card as Richard Victor? Was there a male WHITTINGTON registered in the period? Or could he have been born abroad perhaps? Is it not possible the child marked as 5 months was born at another time?
