Please could you check for William Smith d. 21 Feb 1915 aged 72yrs at Moor House Farm, Limpsfield [Godstone RD]. I have his d.cert. but can't find him in local churchyards - think he was probably non-conformist, if anything. He'd only been in Surrey for a couple of years. If you don't find him, would you think it likely he might have been buried in Kent, having lived so close to county boundary? If so, which cemetery likeliest? Or of course, his body [or ashes - if so, presumably there'd be a cremation record somewhere?...] might have been taken back to Bristol area...... Hi Ann, no luck I'm afraid but your best bet is Bletchingley Cemetery run by the local parish council. If you have not done so already I suggest you contact them.
