Hi Caroline, I'm not sure how I mixed the christening dates for Ulrica-fading eyesight!! Her name has been mistranscribed so many times, I'm fortunate to have found her at all. Thank you for your interest, Barbara -----Original Message----- From: eng-surrey-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:eng-surrey-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Caroline Bradford Sent: Sunday, 3 January 2010 8:47 PM To: eng-surrey@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SRY] SEBINA COWDRY Hi Barbara As Pam says, "Dissenting Minister" implies a minister in a protestant, but not Anglican, church. It would cover a Baptist minister, which is what censuses give for Sebina's father. Ulrica's baptism was on 15 January 1823 (not 25 November). Ancestry have mistranscribed her name as "Ubrica".
