I wonder if anyone on the list can help me.  I am researching my BARBER/BATT family lines and on the 1901 Census I find abut 13 members of the family living at 59 Barkworth Road, Bermondsey.  I am curious what type of house it would have been in this area.  If anyone can give me some idea I would be grateful.  I have tried to find a photograph of the road on the internet without success. Hi Elaine, Houses in Barkworth Road were small terraced houses. They were probably similar to the houses to be found, close by, in Alloa Road, SE8 or Wrigglesworth street, SE14, on Google Earth Streetview.
