Hello to everyone in Surrey I have been looking for a while for Andrew Milton b 6 Nov 1648 death 29 Jan 1676. I believe he was born in Egham,Surrey,England and lived in Bishop Stortford, Hertford where he died. His Father I think was called GORGE MILLTON (2 LL) I think I have found GORGE's kids today.. 1 Gorge 2 April 1643 (he could have died young) 2 Gorge 6 Jan 1645 3 Andrew 6 Nov 1648 4 Ann 23 Sept 1650 5 Hana 3 Mar 1655 6 Sarah 17 Dec 1658 Could anyone please help or verify some of the facts from that area? Did they have anything to do with thr Milton family who did all that poetry writting? This info came from the England Births and Christenings 1538- 1975 for Milton from the LDS Church. Hello Barry, What leads you to believe that your Andrew was born in Egham? MILTON is not an uncommon surname in England. Have you exhausted the potential of wills? I see this P.C.C. will at the National Archives: Thomas Milton, Cooper of Stortford, Hertfordshire 13 June 1689 ref.PROB11/395 If you have sound evidence of the Egham connection, then have you considered these P.C.C. wills, too? There may well be relevant wills proved elsewhere.
