Petty sessional records for Wandsworth from 1870 onwards are at London Metropolitan Archives (series PS/WAN). The catalogue doesn't look too encouraging, as it refers mainly to licensing registers and transfers. I'd recommend sending an email to LMA, to enquire whether they have what you want. Thank you Pam & Judy, you've both been most helpful and it's now fingers crossed that Maria made a claim and that it's been recorded in Petty Sessions.
