    3. Petty sessional records for Wandsworth from 1870 onwards are at London Metropolitan Archives (series PS/WAN). The catalogue doesn't look too encouraging, as it refers mainly to licensing registers and transfers. I'd recommend sending an email to LMA, to enquire whether they have what you want. That sort of general query is normally answered free of charge. HTH Judy London, UK -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of pam hillier Therefore what you are looking for is the Petty sessions near Zennor road I would assume..... Have you tried the National archives and it's offshoot, documents on line. www.nationalarchives.gov.uk or http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/power-search.asp?sear chType=powersearch Perhaps the local government or the area or councils sometimes have leads. 3. Thank you Pam & Judy, you've both been most helpful and it's now fingers crossed that Maria made a claim and that it's been recorded in Petty Sessions. Will visit the UK early next year, before the Olympics !! and if I find anything I'll post it to the list with any helpful tips I gain from researching Petty Sessions records. Kind Regards.
