Sorry to have sounded so confused ( I was not feeling at my best, and should have known better than to try to explain facts at that time) It does look as though my supposed break-through to find his birth/baptism was not what I thought. But I still don't understand where the birth date and place came from - twice. One was for LAZARUS PAVIE giving birth details and parentage, the other was LAZARUS PAVEY and gave same birth details (sans parentage) and also those of his marriage and death. I had remarked, long ago, while trawling through the Kingston parish records, that there seemed to be two Pavey families in the town, but didn't see a connection at the time. It looks as though it is time for a review. Thank you for the tip about the will, Judy. Daphne
