My interest in Ernest Simmonds is that he married one my Grandfather KEMSLEY'S Sisters; Tammesin Alice GIBBONS nee KEMSLEY. I know a little of Ernest SIMMONDS and of his home in Faversham. Putting 2 and 2 together; I reckoned that I had found Ernest and family in the 1841 and 1851 Census and thereafter; the family disappeared and I wondered if perhaps; they may have ended up in Australia, as I know if not; that Ernest did come out to Australia even if only for a visit? I understand that Ernest met Tammesin on the ship. I would very much love to again hear from you and to know more of Ernest and family and I may be able to fill in a few gaps myself if interested?
