Yes Mary I did look for all variations of the name. The only other name near yours was BRETT. I will go through and have another look, but am certain that Ann was the only one to show. I will let you know later. Mo On Thu, Jun 16, 2011 at 8:44 AM, Mary Brettell <[email protected]>wrote: > Hi Mo, > > Thanks for this information :-)... Thanks heaps Mo, I can certainly use these entries for my ONS as I have seen BRETTELL transcribed as BRETTEN and BRETHELL a number of times. Cheers MaryB. Glad to be of help. I certainly know what you mean about variations of a name. My research has me looking for NICHOLL and THORNHILL. Try the variations of those and see how many there are:-)) Good luck anyway Mo On Thu, Jun 16, 2011 at 11:18 AM, Mary Brettell <[email protected]>wrote: > Thanks heaps Mo, > > I can certainly use these entries for my ONS as I have seen BRETTELL > transcribed as BRETTEN and BRETHELL a number of times. > > Cheers > > MaryB. > > On 16/06/2011 6:27 PM, Maureen Burton wrote: > > Hi Mary > > I have just had another look at the cd and there is one I missed > > Elizabeth BRITTLE > > Baptised 2 April 1786 > > Father Thomas > > Mother Ann > > > > On another cd St Mary Lambeth Marriages August 1820 - May 1831 > > there is a marriage between > > Joanna BRETTEN spinster and Daniel KEEBLE bachelor > > 26 Jun 1825 > > Witnesses Jas. I wonder if anyone on the list has had trouble with emails bouncing? It took me three goes to subscribe as the first two requests bounced and then I had another bounce when I tried to post a message to the list. Nothing else is bouncing - just the occasional email to the eng-surrey List :-| Cheers MaryB.
