Always read the label on the tin! Now that I have looked at the reverse of the WSFHS CD-15 it is clear why there are so few baptism records for Effingham - sorry to have ruffled the waters. Will take up the suggestion to visit my local LDS Center, they actually have one here in Longview, Texas. Thanks for the help. Tony MARTER Hello Tony *WSFHS CD2 "Surrey Marriage Index" includes Effingham marriages from 1565 o 1837. *WSFHS CD10 "The Surrey Burial Index" includes Effingham burials from 1565 o 1865 These two indexes are complete for the periods given. Obviously as with any ndex an odd error can occasionally creep in however there are no known missions for Effingham. Marriages and Burials from 1837 and 1865 onwards espectively are not included. *WSFHS CD15 "Surrey Baptisms not in the IGI" includes Effingham baptisms rom 1813 to 1876 This is an ongoing project and is not claimed to be complete but includes he dates shown on the WSFHS website, and in the WSFHS listings of ublications. Effingham baptisms prior to 1813, and after 1876, are not ncluded on CD15. *EFF: This is a microfiche publication which includes Effinham aptisms1565-1851; Marriages 1565-1837; and Burials 1565-1852 - see: ttp://www.wsfhs.org/MicroFicheMP.htm The LDS may have films available to fill some if not all the gaps you have o worth checking their catalogue, if you can get to an LDS Centre locally. I hope this helps. Ann *************************************** end your List messages using **PLAIN TEXT** and always **TRIM AWAY** uperfluous old messages in replies.
