Recent events serve to remind us that all messages sent to this Surrey forum should always have clear and meaningful subject lines. Apart from anything else, this enables us to see at a glance whether or not a message is likely to be a legitimate Surrey genealogical mailing. Messages with non-descript subject lines are, at very least, unhelpful to fellow forum members, and will quite possibly result in a message being deleted unread. Meaningful subject lines give information about "what, where and when", and have any surnames in capital letters.
