This is a gentle reminder that personal advertising of goods and services and/or commercial advertising is not generally permitted on the List. There are, however, some acceptable forms of advertising so if you wish to advertise goods, services, or events, it is always best to first run the idea past the Administrator the List, privately, not least as a matter of courtesy and most importantly to make sure the mailing will be within the Rootsweb acceptable use policy, as well as being within the guidelines for the particular forum/list.
