    2. >From Sun ( London, England ), Thursday, July 28, 1796; Issue 1198. SURREY ASSIZES, GUILDFORD, July, 26. BEFORE LORD KENYON. John STEWARD , Hen. ASHFIELD and J. Johnson PRESBURY , three Soldiers of the Coldstream Regiment of Guards, were brought by Habeas Corpus from Newgate, and charged on the oaths of James BELL and James TOLLY , both of Peckham, with feloniously assaulting them on the King's highway, in the County of Surrey, putting them in fear, and taking from their persons a silver watch and one penny farthing in money. Guilty: Death.
