Hi Al and all I have a slight interest in the name Waterer My gt gt gt grandmother was Mary Varnden who married James Douglass Her sister Ann Varnden married William Waterer on 3.10.1797 at Hampton, Middlesex Ann died in 1822 and William in 1852, both in Chertsey (former aged 47, latter aged 77) I am not 100% but if I have the right William then in 1851 he was in the Chertsey Union Workhouse This entry shows him as aged 77 and born in Leatherhead Again I am not totally certain but William and Ann may have had up to 5 children in Send, Chertsey and Woking between 1807 and 1822 A number of papers relating to the Varnden family are in my possession including some property deals with William Waterer (who was a labourer) This may or may not be of interest to you Regards Bob -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Al Holmes Sent: 31 August 2011 21:17 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SRY] SRY etc. Newpaper clippings As I have used this site for many stories of my Waterer family, and have never had any problems with it.
