As Chris Willis mentioned West Surrey have indexed marriages which are complete for Rural Surrey. Lingfield marriages are listed for 1561-1837. As Chris mentioned only one Tobias Johnson, listed in the Index, but too late for your Tobias. The 2nd edition Marriage CD was issued November 2010. At that time it was almost complete for Metropolitan Surrey, the following are the only Anglican Parishes and dates Not included in the Marriage Index. Battersea St Mary 1559-1802: Lambeth St Mary 1754-1822;1824-1827;1829-1831 Newington St Mary 1561-1631; 1640-1646(register gap);1813-1830 (in IGI) St John Horsleydown 1792-1798 Southwark St Saviour 1539-1570 Other dates up to 1837 for the above mentioned parishes are included.
