    1. [SRY] My Christmas Wish - GOULSTON
    2. Rebecca Cooley
    3. Merry (nearly) Christmas everyone! Having seen other 'wish lists' posted, I thought I'd send mine in just in case ... My brick wall is one Morris GOULSTON. He was born on the 3rd Sept, 1680 in Whitechapel and married at least twice; firstly to Elizabeth PRUSHALL at Rotherhithe, and several of their children were born at Walton-on-Thames. The family then moved to Kingston-on-Thames where at least one more child was born. Elizabeth died in 1720 and Morris then married Mary ASHTON in 1722 and their first (and only, I think) child was born at Kingston-on-Thames in June, 1723. This is the last mention I can find of Morris. I can find no death date for him (or Mary), nor a will. The family seems to have just disappeared. If anyone has any ideas, I would be ever so grateful. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year all, Becky in Australia _________________________________________________________________ If It Exists, You'll Find it on SEEK Australia's #1 job site http://clk.atdmt.com/NMN/go/157639755/direct/01/

    3. Hello Lawrence Have you tried for a Death Certificate for this Edward and Esther Cook. I was looking thru the 1871 Census on Ancestry but none seemed to fit so he may have died before the 1871, actually they both may have died. Well I'm off to church. I just wanted to send my thanks early. 3. I first found the family in 1841, then used the name of son Richard with father Edward and mother Esther to find them on 1851. The one I sent seemed the only one to fit, so I hoped it was the right one. By the way, and only to clarify, the 1841 census confirms only that a person was born in the county where he/was living at the time, Yes/No. One can never infer that the person was born in the parish or even town where they were living at the time of the census. The distinction between "London" and "Middlesex" as separate counties is often blurred by people, both then and now! The other abbreviations are for born outside the country, S = Scotland, I = Ireland, F = Foreign. Rarely does this last include more details. JK On Sun, Dec 13, 2009 at 1:01 AM, Susan J. 2. Jacqui Moce
    3. Would love to find my grandparents deaths and burials, have been hunting for ages, with no luck. I know Charles was alive in 1942 as he is next of kin on my mothers war records. He was living at Tooting at that stage, not sure if his wife Edith was there as well or if she had "moved on". He was born 1886 in Kingston, Surrey and Edith born 1890 Pikes Hill, Epsom. Anything on these two would be a wonderful Christmas present. Regards and best wishes for the Christmas Season Jacqui from New Zealand.
