Hello, I know this isn't the list for this question,but I was wondering if someone could help me, my ggggrandfather came out to Australia around 1851 or whereabouts,but I can't find the shipping records and whoever I talk to within the family who have done some research haven't been able to find it either, we know he went under a different name for a few years after he came to Australia, so someone mentioned that he might of been in the India war, and then he came out here under this other name, as I don't know anything about the India war, would anyone know where I could look to find out more about it.
