Hello Listers, I am trying to contact other descendants of John HAYWARD and Margaret WILLIAMS. John was born in Turton, Lancs. c.1793 and Margaret was born in Liverpool c.1803. They were married in Liverpool on 7 April 1825 and settled in Macclesfield, E. Cheshire. Five of their children came to New Zealand. Three of their sons remained in England and raised families. They were : > Frederick William HAYWARD, born 1826, married Margaret MARS and lived in Carlisle, > John Williams HAYWARD, born c.1830, married Elizabeth Jane DAVEY, a doctor of Liverpool, > George Goddard HAYWARD, born c.1832, married Mary Ann CLARK, also lived in Carlisle. There was also a daughter, Sarah HAYWARD, born c.1828, about whom I know nothing more, and two other daughters, Margaret Alice HAYWARD and Sophia Louisa HAYWARD, who had a drapery business in Liverpool and died unmarried.
