    3. Dear folks, I am looking for a James Barrett, probably alias Seamus Barrett, alias Bappead, who lived on Liverpool Road, Deansgate, Manchester 3, England. The following is what is known about him. 1880c - James Barrett born in Ireland ? 1906 - James Barrett was the best man at the wedding of Thomas Joyce and Teresa Clarke in Dundalk, Louth Co., Irl. Teresa was from Manchester and was a dressmaker. Thomas, it is believed, went to Manchester to become an electrician where he met Teresa. 1907- James (Seamus) Barrett on April 5th, became God Father to a daughter of the above Thomas and Teresa Joyce in the Parish of Fairview, Dublin, Irl. James signed his name as "James Barrett" in the church register. 1910 - Seamus Barrett alias Bappead, wrote a letter to Dublin from # 9 (nine) Liverpool Road, Deansgate, Manchester, M3. It seems that he was involved with the Sinn Fein movement and quite probably the Manchester Sinn Fein Club. He wrote about the politics of the time. His wife was alive in 1910. 1935 - Seamus Barrett, whose wife had died on Aug. 31, 1931, wrote a letter from # 19 (nineteen) Liverpool Road to Thomas Joyce in the U.S.A., as the latter with his family had moved their in 1912. - - - - - - - If anyone has any information to help locate James\Seamus Barrett and his family would you please contact me.
