Hello Elaine, as far as i know i havent found any price ancestors in Worcester, my prices lived in villages near to Leominster, Herefs if i find any connection to Worcester i will let you know. regards, Keith.
Dear Keith, Do you think that you might have any Price "stragglers" into Worcestershire? If so, then you might take a look at my web site on the Prices at http://www.geocities.com/ep19622002/index.html The chart starts out with Joseph Price in Hasbury, Worcestershire (1825-1899), but some information consists only of a name and a birth or death date. Please bear with me -- the website is a work in progress -- but might provide someone with the information that they need right now. I upload new information as it becomes available. The Joseph price family emigrated to New Brunswick Canada c. 1870. I'm looking for a Price - (Sarah?)Davies connection based on anecdotal information from my late grandmother; I think it is a lateral connection instead of straight descent. The Prices, who did finishing work on monuments, have a possible business connection to Stropshire, but I don't know how far else they might have travelled. Some other names mentioned are Lesuer, Welock, Palmer, Breen, White, Williams, Acheson, Fisher, Gullison, Averil, Clark and Waddingham, but these are New Brunswick connections. Regards Elaine Price

Hi, George, my OZ genie angel, Thank you so much for all these individuals. This is so great! I do appreciate it muchly. No, I am not necessarily collecting Jaques per se (although the further back we go we find some spelled variously Jagnip, Jaques, Jaquis, Jaquiss, Jeaques, Jequis, Jugnip, Juquis) but Trevor decided to create this Jaques list and nothing would do but that I join because it was going to cover: Jacques, Jacquis, Jaques, Jaquis, Jaquiss, etc. Which is cool. So since you have done all this great work I am sharing it with the most circulation I can. If you are going to do all this it might as well benefit the largest community possible. I hope that is copesetic with you. Most of the individuals you found are "mine" and I have identified them. I have further information on them but although I had descendants for them I didn't have marriage dates or places for most of them so that is a step forward and a wonderful help. I have added my information after the ***. Thanks, again. Deborah in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC, USA snip HI Deborah, I saw your message to Trevor, are you collecting Jaques as well as Jaquiss? He was one of my English cousins that had been researching Jaquiss family history and genealogy with Margaret Armstrong nee Jaquiss but they never found their connection during their lifetime. While it was Bert's opinion that the Jaquiss' were Norman English who came to England before the Huegnots were organized. I know this is not anything to do with family history, but.. Can we please spare a few moments for the families of those two children? My heart goes out to them, and I am sure you all feel the same. I have a teenage daughter myself and I hate it when I don't know where she is, or who she is with. We must watch out for any child that looks to be in any kind of danger, no matter how insignificant it seems at the time! Please report it!! I hope with all my heart that whoever is responsible for this gets all that they deserve and more. I do apologise for going off on a tangient but, when it comes down to it, no-one deserves what these families are going through. We may be looking for our ancestors, but...... at the end of the day our children are our descendants! Speaks for itself!! regards to you all Hazel
