    3. Hi, Our Mellor was Sarah Mellor b. 1833(?) who married John Parr in Burslem. From the parish registers the Mellors appear to have had quite a lot of connection with Parrs for some time. A Mary Parr married a George Mellor in1782. The complication is that there are two Parr branches which intermarried from time to time and this George Mellor is on the other branch from the Sarah Mellor. You will perhaps receive an email from another Parr relative who is a direct descendent of the Sarah Mellor line if you don't hear from her I will pass on your email.
