I have been tolded that Sampson BENNETT was the father of John BENNETT who was the father of Enoch BENNETT who became a solicitor. Enoch was the father of Enoch Arnold BENNETT the author who wrote among others about the Five Towns plus Clayhanger and many other novels. Can anybody give me anymore information about the family especially the children of Sampson and Phoebe. Jeaan
