Today at 1.00 p.m. the 1851 Birmingham/Aston 12th Film was scanned making 14,755 scans for this major part of Birmingham. These scanned films for Birmingham, Aston, Erdington and Sutton Coldfield etc are available in a 4CD pack. The quality of these scans are the finest I have made to date, overwidth film caused major problems but I think that problem has best been solved with a Searchable Street index for each Census. We have added 3 CDs 13,849 scans with Birmingham area locations from Worcestershire and Staffordshire - so Birmingham is very well covered.
