    2. Hi, I was hoping someone might help enlighten me as to where French or French lane is in Shropshire (This is how it was written on the census returns) This is the family I am looking for (in 1841, French?? Shropshire) Joseph MANSELL / MANSALL b.1802/3 / shoemaker / b. French, Salop (age in 1841 38) Mary MANSELL " b.1803/4 / b. " " (age in 1841 37) Joseph MANSELL " b.1833 / shoemaker / b. French , Salop (age in 1841 8) Hannah MANSELL " b.1835 / b. " " (age in 1841 6) John MANSELL " b.1836 / b. " " (age in 1841 5) Toby??? MANSELL " b.1837 / b. " " (age in 1841 4) Sarah MANSELL " b.1841??? b. " " (might be there?) They also had another Daughter Mary, b.1843 French, Salop (so the family were there until after 1843 when they moved to Longton Staffs. Any help would be really appreciated, thank you, Dawn (Leeds)
