Just found out about Corporal Walter William Turner who died 12 April 1918 in France. Apparently he worked for 23 years by Messrs. Billington and Newton, in Longport. Do any of you know if this is a store or what??? Also was a well known footballer played for the Hanley Swifts ten years in succession. Does this team still exist??? He left behind a daughter and a widow any ideas on how to trace them??? Daughter's children would be about my age I would think. Thanks everyone for all of your kind help out there. Margie
