I am a new member. I am wondering if anyone out there knows anything about Sarah Garner 1761-1824. She married Samuel Spode 3rd December 1783 at St Mary's, St Marylebone, London, although he was certainly from the potteries and I believe she was as well. Their son Josiah 1790-1858 married Maria Middlemore Garner daughter of Robert Garner & Elizabeth Middlemore who one report said was his cousin. If they were first cousins Robert (from whom I am descended) and Sarah would have to be brother and sister and although I can find serveral siblings for Robert there is no Sarah among them. the only Sarah Garner I can find was christened in 1859 in Trentham daughter of William & Sarah.
