Hi Jacqui, I live at Goldenhill and my Aunty used to look after her next door neighbour Mrs. Frances Bollington. Her husband was Archibald Bollington, Coal Merchant. Also my family name is Cooper but as yet I haven't discovered a William for that period. Hope this helps. I am trying to find any information available for Edith Boote. The only details that I have is that she was born circa 1891 at Goldenhill, Stoke on Trent. She married William Cooper from Tunstall. When she met William she was working as a Sponger at the Wedgwood factory, High Gate, Tunstall. William was working as a Plate Maker at the same factory. Her mother may have been named Frances. Edith died about 1945 at Longport. I understand that Edith had a sister Lily who kept or worked in a sweet shop in High Street, Goldenhill. Also, another sister who married a Coal Merchant named Bollington from Goldenhill. I have searched Birth and Marriage records for this lady without success, maybe a fellow lister has the missing link that I am looking for.
