I am trying to find any information available for Edith Boote. The only details that I have is that she was born circa 1891 at Goldenhill, Stoke on Trent. She married William Cooper from Tunstall. When she met William she was working as a Sponger at the Wedgwood factory, High Gate, Tunstall. William was working as a Plate Maker at the same factory. Her mother may have been named Frances. Edith died about 1945 at Longport. I understand that Edith had a sister Lily who kept or worked in a sweet shop in High Street, Goldenhill. Also, another sister who married a Coal Merchant named Bollington from Goldenhill. I have searched Birth and Marriage records for this lady without success, maybe a fellow lister has the missing link that I am looking for.
