Barbara: Mary WALTON married John WHITTINGHAM 7 June 1835. There is no clue as to Mary's family on the marriage entry and she was very uncooperative and died before the 1851 Census. On the 1841 census, she is age 25 and born in Staffordshire. The only clue I have is that on John WHITTINGHAM's brother Samuel's marriage entry, one of the witnesses is a Sarah WALTON. John WHITTINGHAM, a blue maker, died in 1852. His estate was worth over £100 so I am hoping there might be an obituary in the Staffordshire Advertiser. That's all I have, I'm afraid.
