We have just finished scanning The 1851 Census for Wiltshire and it will be flying all over the world on Monday. This 4 CD set now joins Somerset, Bristol, Shropshire, Worcestershire & Staffordshire in the scanned group - some also have been transcribed. Just returned from a 2 night trip to the PRO in Kew and bought 1851 Dorset & 1851 Hereford - 1891 Birmingham & 1851 Oxfordshire should arrive in a day or two. (The prices in London are scary - paid 17 pounds for Fish and Chips.) couldn't get home fast enough.
