I am researching EDMUND BADDLEY and SARAH DAYSON. Edmund Baddley born Aug 22, 1817, christened at Bethesda Chapel Albion St. Methodist Church New Connexion, Shelton, Staffordshire. Son of Richard Baddeley and Elizabeth Hulse. Edmund Baddley and Sarah Dayson were married on May 16, 1840 at Bethesda Chapel in the Parish of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. At the time of their marriage, Edmund was a potter, his residence was Horde Cane, Hanley (I'm guessing at te Horde Cane, the writing is hard to read). His father Richard was a colliery bailiff. Sarah Dayson's residence was Northwood, Hanley and her father was Thomas, a farmer. Edmund and Sarah had a son, Thomas, born Nov 22, 1840, supposedly in Hanley. They had another son Edmund C., born Feb 4, 1843 in England. They emigrated to the USA between 1843 and 1847. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has access to the 1841 census for Hanley or Fenton, could you please do a lookup on Edmund and Sarah for me? Also on Richard Baddeley and Thomas Dayson. Many thanks.
