Hi All I have trawled the online 1901 census for my great-grandparents. Charles and Ada Leigh. I have found Charles in Harewood Hospital, but I cannot find Ada. I wondered if SKS could check an address for me? When Charles and Ada married in April 1900 they gave Hanover St, Hanley as their address. Unfortunately I can't read the number. In June 1905 my grandfather was born at 3 Arlington Street, I have checked this in the 1901 census and Ada is not there. Ada would be about 20 years old. Her profession when they married was a potter's 'moneyman' or 'mansjoiner' (again I can't read it). Her maiden name was Barrett. There is an Ada Leigh listed on the 1901 census, living with her mother Elizabeth Pepper - she is not my Ada as I have found this one in the 1881 census. Please could someone check Hanover Street, Hanley and tell me of any 20 year old females are living there who are married - but the husband is not shown?
