Thanks to Christine, Shirley, and Ann for confirming my impressions of Gordon's service. He says on his web site that he will sort out any problems as soon as possible or refund the money. I think this is his "get-out" clause. He refuses to even look at the problems I have found, and as others have said, we don't want a refund, we just want it to "do what it says on the tin". My first response when I received his second message was to reply, but then took a deep breath and decided to see if anyone else had any problems. I'd rather pay extra to a reputable company and get good support from them. According to his web site he has lots more censuses in the pipeline, but I personally would be wary of any more purchases.
