Hi Listers! I have about 7 families I could do with looking up on the 1851 census. I'm remote from Stoke so it seems like the 1851 scanned set from mycensus.com wouldn't be a bad investment for that number. But I think I'd need the BMSGH index CD as well. Being pretty new to FH I'd appreciate the lists advice. BW Andy. Hello Andy, Can't help with any census but picked up on your mention of Bebbington. I would be interested in anything you may have regarding this name. Here is where I am with my research....... I am looking for any Bevington in and around the pottery towns. So far I have reached late 1700's with positive proof. However, I am now finding that my Bevingtons are being recorded as Beb(b)ington/ Babbington. There is absolutely no doubt that I can prove the Bebbington is a Bevington in some cases but not all. Any clues would be most gratefuly received Regards Sandra Todd ----- Original Message ----- From: Andy Micklethwaite <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 17, 2003 5:53 PM Subject: [Pots] 1851 census > Hi Listers! > > I have about 7 families I could do with looking up on the 1851 census.
