Hi list, is it possible that someone named Hannah could be known as Fanny ? Just as John is sometimes called Jack, perhaps someone could tell me please ?. Regards de Dave

Fanny is most often the nickname for Frances. But Hannah/ Anna/ Anne are all basically the same name and sometimes interchangeable. I was known as Anne-Fan by some of my family as a child - so I guess it is possible!
