Many thanks for your response Peter,the earliest Finney I have in my Tree,is an Arthur Finney born in c 1868 in Hanley,the son of a John Finney,and a Mary Ann Birch.John Finney was also born in Hanley in c 1846,but to date I have no details of his Parents.Arthur Finney married a Margaret Ann Durber in 1894.Margaret was the sister of my Great-Grandfather Henry Durber.
