    3. Hello Linda. I have not yet found connection with Ada WITHINSHAW but I will keep her on my list. Her birth is indexed on ancestry.co.uk BMD for December 1871 but there is no marriage entry on their list. I see that Cameron has found it on freebmd. It pays to look everywhere. Thank you for contacting me. I am always interested in any item on Withinshaw. I have never found anyone who is researching that name. Perhaps ther are too few of us. My direct line hangs by a thread. My generation (1925) was only me and a female cousin. I have two sons but only one grandchild with the Withinshaw name Regards Redg ---- Original Message ---- From: "Linda en Henk" <yrrem1@quicknet.nl> To: <ENG-STS-THE-POTTERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 11:57 PM Subject: Re: [Pots] new lister and interests > Thanks for the info.happy hunting. > Linda Westmaas > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "ccs" <ccs27@btinternet.com> > To: <ENG-STS-THE-POTTERIES-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 1:24 PM > Subject: Re: [Pots] new lister and interests > > >> Hello Linda >> >> No connection but I found the marriage here....... >> >> http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl >> >> Emily Ada Withinshaw married William Davis >> >> September 1/4 1895 Cheadle 6B 495 >> >> HTH >> Cameron >> >> >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "Linda en Henk" <yrrem1@quicknet.nl> >> To: <ENG-STS-THE-POTTERIES-L@rootsweb.com> >> Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 12:13 PM >> Subject: Re: [Pots] new lister and interests >> >> >>> Hallo Mr. Withinshaw?, >>> I have recently found out that when my ancestor Ann Merry died her >>> husband >>> William Davis remarried a lady called Emily Ada Withinshaw, approximately >> in >>> 1893.They lived in Longton,Staffs.Around 1906/07 they had a fruit and >>> veg.business in Stafford. >>> Any connection? >>> Regards >>> Linda Westmaas(Holland) >>> ----- Original Message ----- >>> From: "withinshaw" <redgwit@chariot.net.au> >>> To: <ENG-STS-THE-POTTERIES-L@rootsweb.com> >>> Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2005 3:14 AM >>> Subject: [Pots] new lister and interests >>> >>> >>> > BMD lists a number of WITHINSHAW in Wolstanton including my GGrFather >>> > Edward >>> > and hie family. He married a Sarah SHEEN from across the border in >>> > Cheshire. >>> > Has anyone found an odd Withinshaw in their tree. 3. Hi Redg I have a Withinshaw in my tree! As yet I have done any research on them so I have no dates of birth etc. They are Ginny (not sure exactly what this is short for) and Bruce Withinshaw and they lived on Milehouse Lane opposite a pub of the same name, Bruce was a haulier and had his own wagon! My connection is that Ginny was my gg grandmother's sister, I think! I'm going off what my Aunt has told me and she was only a young child then. Hope this is some interest to you. Kind Regards Dawn ----- Original Message ----- From: "withinshaw" <redgwit@chariot.net.au> To: <ENG-STS-THE-POTTERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 6:28 AM Subject: Re: [Pots] new lister WITHINSHAW > Hello Linda.
